It's another year and the summer has just gotten better! With a new chapter in my life beginning in the fall and the closing of my current chapter in Malaysia. I'm glad to say that the last 2 years have been very eventful with experiences that I will never forget. Look back here soon as i'll be showing you a quick glance of what happened over the last year.

Penang Updated! - II

The Hike!
On our second day in Penang, we decided to go ahead with the planned hiking itinerary despite that it had been raining all night! So off we drove to the Penang National Park to experience a taste rainforest, waterfall, natural water and off course our very own motivation: the beach. Some other events that occured were Dorothy's struggle, a mid-jungle dance off to "I Gotta Feeling" a preview of snoop as an orang asli. Unfortunately, Lee Jo and Nick couldn't come along as car issues needed attending to. The perilous journey measured about 3 km long, complete with unnecessary jungle poncho's. We reached the Kerachut beach which was a natures best kept secret and a scenery to die for.

Penang Updated!

So it's been a lil while since Penang, but boy has it been one awesome week! But before getting into this weeks details here's a lil recap on what went down in Penang!

Getting to Penang!

Amidst the held ups, the torrential rain, snoops driving, lost comrad and all those toilet breaks along the malaysian north-south highway, after a great 6-7 hours of driving (plus the waiting times in the car otw to help and getting out of KL) to the sunny, blue waters and food paradise of Penang, what greeted us was a torrential rainstorm packed Penang with plenty of flooded hawkers! As we waited oh so very patiently to get to the island to eat extremely cheap and deliciously mouth watering food, the experience that greeted us was soaking wet clothes and a flooded hawker! But I must say it was well worth the wait as I had tried my very first Penang dish! Moving along the night, after discovering that Lee Jo and Nick were having car problems, the destination that awaited us was the lush beach resort house that boasts an awesome, breathtakingly backyard beach scenery. Truly the beginning of what was going to be an amazing weekend! Our rooms came with a hotel like deluxe king bed and one room had the amazing sea balcony view that connects us with the natural sound of sea waves!

Good Morning Penang

So yesterday was quite interesting, after class had ended I was seriously contemplating what on earth I was going to do for the next 5 days of holiday when luck struck and I randomly decided to follow my mates to Penang in a span of 2 minutes! It has been quite a treacherous journey, battling the heavy rain on our never ending road trip, eating excellent food at flooded hawkers, waiting for lee jo and nick to join us from their adventure of misfortunes to many more exciting events to come! I post to you at this hour as we are about to embark on a hike that leads to where else other than a beach! will post ya with pictures later! :)

A Series of Unfortunate Events

So like it's interesting to see how in one night, all the possibilities of unfortunate things can occur.. It started off as a normal evening, i was going to go and met Jilly for dinner at Pyramid, however when I left, I had somehow blatantly managed to lock my self out of my room and within my own house! (the keys were dropped in my room on the way out..) So after trying to open the bloody door juvenile style I got so frustrated that I even got amazed with my own strength when I smashed the door with my fist leaving a round shaped crack on my door. So after this I called the DLKV to open my house door grill to let me out.

I finally reached TGI Fridays at 10 to discover the lovely Jillian and her friend Joanna left me huge portions of their leftovers! (some good things happen too). After dinner we were meant to head to the curve and meet up with Claire, Yong Wen and Haruka but then Joanna lost her car keys and Jill and I got stuck in a huge traffic jam on the rooftops of pyramid carpark for a whole 45 MINUTES! So after reaching Joanna at the B1 spaces we contemplated and waited with her until midnight to discover that the manager of Fridays picked her key up.. (haiyahhh..) And then all the lads at the curve said they were leaving.. so we ended up having a good chill session at Republic.

So after a goodnight of company and dance, I still had no way of getting into my house and bedroom so I accompanied Jilly home and stayed the night so I could call the landlord for the spare keys.. (who finally came at 1.45pm).

Lets just hope that these kind of avoidable events (as my dad would say) won't happen for the next few days! =)

So I decided to go with the classy simple look here! I'm off to get some rest after being in class the whole day!

Now I know it's been awhile since i've updated this thing.. But due to recent events of sheer boredom and nothing to do online except for facebooking, twittering and you tubing, I have decided to put effort into this blog and hopefully keep it going!

First of all,

1. This blog design is actually pretty shitty as its black and really hard to read.
2. The text is damn tiny.
3. This page will have a new look and more interesting design to look at.
4. Watch this space.
5. One damnnn long post on what has happened in the last year!
